We remember the life of David Hanson, and in so doing, honor the Lord for His work in the Hanson family. There are posts on this blog dating back to November 2006 when David, my dad, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. These pages reflect our family’s journey through the last days of dad’s life. Each post is taken from “Family Update” emails sent to people praying for our family during this time. The most recent post, March 23, 2008 titled “The Last of the Firsts,” highlights the one year anniversary of dad’s passing.

I know exactly what you mean. I am captivated by the secular song — which was the theme song in Joyeux Noel — I’m dreaming of home. I am homesick for a place I’ve never been. A place that will finally be home.
